New Zealand Firefighters perform a powerful Haka for those lost on 9-11

by Chuck Stanley

The Fire Service of New Zealand does the traditional Haka new-zealand-fire-service_tceremonial war dance for their comrades who are about to do the annual Memorial Stair Climb of the Skytower.

This climb is to celebrate the lives of those lost on September 11, 2001 and to remember their heroism. Those firefighters of 9-11 ran toward the danger rather than away from it because that is what firefighter do.

This was the 2015 NZFS Haka. There will be a new Haka later today. I will post that as soon as it becomes available.

Firefighter motto: “Honor Before All.”
