Edible Flowers

The Blue Borage, or "Starflower", is an edible flower unlike Hemlock.

“The Blue Borage, or ‘Starflower’, is an edible flower . . . unlike Hemlock.” – Socrates

Nothing brings community together quite like food. From tapas to full blown banquets, food builds friendship and camaraderie. One of the more enjoyable aspects of this community is that many members like to talk about food.  This conversation affects more than just the participants. For example, our very own Elaine Magliaro has shared her famous Almond Torte recipe with several regular readers and it has gone on to become a favorite dessert with their families.  So in the spirit of building community, Flowers for Socrates has added the “Edible Flowers” page: a collection of threads to share cooking techniques, discuss ingredients, share recipes and discuss libations.
