At a Senate Banking Committee hearing this past September, Elizabeth Warren–the senior senator from my state of Massachusetts–asked financial regulators why they have not criminally prosecuted senior executives at Wall Street banks that have broken the law.

    Love to hear Elizabeth Warren ask the questions. She keeps her focus and doesn’t let them obfuscate. Yep, they’re supposed to make referrals for criminal investigations but they didn’t do it. And Shelby tries to let them off by pointing in a different direction. Taking on the justice department should happen when they are the witnesses, not the regulators. Wonder how much he gets from Wall St?
