I was looking for something which was fun and different, and ran across these videos of people having adventures with their cats, which at least one of them calls ‘Catting.’

Something light-hearted, and a little weird, which made me smile and laugh. Hope they will do the same for you.

I have become very dependent upon my computer. Recently, while I was in the middle of two projects that were both computer-dependent, the computer began what looked like a death spiral. Dark grey “flames” shot up from the bottom of the screen and the whole image shimmered so that it was nearly impossible to read. The thing overheated and “zoomed” and the screen just went black several times. I freaked out and spent two days in an agony of panic and frustration. Then I had my appointment with the computer repair guy and he took the computer for two hours to run the diagnostics.
He called me. On his thick Delhi staccato he queried, “Do you have pets at home?”
My apartment houses several room mates and a 17-year-old black cat.
The cat hairs had worked their way into the computer and jammed it all up!

      Hi Malisha –

Yikes! Glad your machine could be saved.

Our dog has what we call “Hydra hair” – she’s a Border Collie, bred for Scotland, living in Southern California, so she sheds year-round. As much hair as we groom off, she grows back even more. I will have to be more vigilant about vacuuming in the area around my computer.

I once saw a basset hound go from lying totally still on one of two twin beds in a cheap motel to flying through the air (in approximately the same position) to land in the middle of the second twin bed, in the resting position from which he started. And we all burst into laughter which he ignored, with his big ear flaps unmoved. I wish I could have filmed it.

I have one that can do that. The other strains to jump .5 times his body length.
