Rule #4 has been amended to clarify its relationship to Rules 2 and 3 as follows:
b) “Stalking” is “any person who intentionally and repeatedly follows or harasses another person and who makes a credible threat, either expressed or implied, with the intent to place that person in reasonable fear of death or serious bodily harm”. This standard may be used in conjunction with the standard of persistent disruptive behavior found in Rule #1 as a reason for banishment. Stalking behavior may also be used as a reason for banishment in conjunction with either Rule #2 and/or Rule #3.

Anyone who establishes a written presence on this blog has a fairly strong ego believing others will benefit from their thoughts. Blogs live in the Wild West that is the internet community. Gene, as proprietor of this small Wild West town, is simply establishing a bit of order so that said egos may flourish. Establishing that order is his responsibility for he built the damn place and his name is on it.
New people come from other towns where the rules may be different. Fine. If you want to live here you’re given time to learn and adjust. One warning should suffice but that’s up to the proprietor.
Don’t like the rules? Saddle up and move down the road apiece. There’s another town just around the bend. There’s also lots of open space to build your own.
Now this is an excellent rule! I wish all blogs would have one just like it and blog owners who have the decency to enforce it equally.
