NOTICE: FFS Welcomes a New Author

FFS is pleased to announce the addition of a new weekly feature author to our roster. Nona Blyth Cloud will be writing “Word Cloud”, appearing every Friday. In it she will cover topics ranging from Poetry, Theater, and Books to the Transcendentalists.

Nona Blyth Cloud has lived and worked in the Los Angeles area for the past 45 years, spending much of that time commuting on the 405 Freeway. After Hollywood failed to appreciate her genius for acting and directing, she began a second career managing non-profits, from which she retired last year.

Nona has now resumed writing whatever comes into her head, instead of reports and pleas for funding. She lives in a small house overrun by books with her wonderful husband and a bewildered Border Collie. You can also find Nona Cloud at DailyKos where she is one of the hosts of their popular “Morning Open Thread” feature.

Look for her work to start appearing this Friday on FFS. She is the first of many changes and fine additions to come!

Post a photo of her border collie since I have never seen a bewildered one before. Most of them know exactly what they want and do.

  2. It’s kinda like playing “Confuse a Cat”, Randy, but you use a larger Confusion Ray. 😉

  3. Yay for Nona! Smart move, FfS. 🙂

A Border Collie with only two people to herd keeps looking for the rest of the flock! She also doesn’t understand why there are sudden loud noises like fireworks or thunder.
