No one appreciates the very special genius of your conversation as the dog does.

It’s late Sunday afternoon. The sky has been overcast all day, and the air smells like rain, even though it’s not in the forecast. Like at least 40% of my fellow Americans, I am feeling stressed out by what’s happening in our nation’s capital.

I just can’t do any more serious thinking, so please join me in taking a break:

Here’s hoping we all have a very uneventful Monday — For the sake of your mental health, please avoid Twitter at all costs.

About wordcloud9

Nona Blyth Cloud has lived and worked in the Los Angeles area for over 50 years, spending much of that time commuting on the 405 Freeway. After Hollywood failed to appreciate her genius for acting and directing, she began a second career managing non-profits, from which she has retired. Nona has now resumed writing whatever comes into her head, instead of reports and pleas for funding. She lives in a small house overrun by books with her wonderful husband.

Well, I have a,rescue kitten/cat. When I am on the couch she snuggles as close as she can. When I get up, she follows wherever I go. It’s funny, she is not one to be held.

Some cats don’t like to be held – it makes them feel trapped – but still, you are obviously this one ‘s chosen human!

  2. pete says:

Dogs live for attention, cats remind you that you could be using both hands.

  3. I am owned by two cats.
