America doesn’t have enough national holidays, so I have no quarrel with people who work for a living taking advantage of the three-day weekend for R&R.
Here are some tunes by and for all the working men, women and children in the Labor Movement whose sacrifices brought us the 8-hour day (which a lot of people have lost in recent years), the weekend (which many of us still have), and of course, Labor Day itself.

When people who don’t know me ask me what party I am, I say, “Labor.” That throws them for a loop. Many say, “We don’t have a labor party.” Boy is THAT true. (Yes, I know we do, but;;;)
It should be a much bigger party – workers of all kinds are treated so badly, and need much better representation in government at the state and national levels
Yes we should, we definitely have Tories.
