Of course, my terms of endearment for my husband do not include Baby, he will be home today not tomorrow, and I do not expect him to be the solution to all my problems. But other than that, this was the best of a surprisingly poor lot of songs on YouTube about one’s beloved returning home. One song about going home that sticks in my mind is this one.

One for you buddy. Bill Ellis was 1st Cav. He wrote “Freedom Bird” and performed it in the bunkers. From Austin City Limits in 1992.
My freedom bird was a Green Brannif 707-320C.
